If there would be a no star option I would do that I bought this machine and it didnt get my clothing clean ever. The first technician that came told me that they started making this machine with plastic behind the tub and it traps all the detergent and therefore my clothing doesnt get clean and not only that usually its full of lint and also very creased

I purchased this washing machine as well as that dryer that goes with this duo however this is the second washer that I have had delivered and its still not working. Its been approximately six weeks that Ive been messing around with us washer because there apparently was an issue between LG and Home Depot about delivery but I had nothing to do with yet. I was the one that had to wait weeks before I could get another washer. The second washer was just delivered Friday. I tried to do a load of laundry Earlier this evening and the tub begin grinding again. Based on LG lack of wanting to make the first order right I went ahead and purchased a warranty with Home Depot. Ill call them tomorrow and see if they can get this situation straightened out.

It is a beautiful machine My husband loves it as do I The tub of the machine is huge I was able to wash my king size blanket along with the sheets and pillowcases. I was so surprised. It washed my husband and I laundry quickly with one load. About 2 weeks of laundry. Then my son came over and washed all his laundry. It also has an Allergiene mode its so wonderful to have so many options. I havent use the WiFi on the washer yet but I plan to very soon. Love that this is a top loader and has a safety lock

So disappointed in this washer. We have had it less than a year and in that time we have had 3 major parts replaced. The clutch is gone the wash plate quit and the pump also quit. We paid major $$$ for this set and never expected a brand new appliance to need this work. We definitely got a lemon. We would never recommend this to anyone looking to buy.

3x the listed cost because it ruins your clothes

Please do not buy this washer. I have had it for a year now and it has ruined so many of our clothes. I washed a brand new set of sheets in it and it created a huge hole in the middle. It has shredded the sides of towels ripped holes in my jeans ruined my kids pajamas and ripped holes in at least three bedsheets. I have called LG at least three times and they have offered no help. I now wash everything on the delicate cycle but just this morning I saw new holes in some pajamas of mine. It is a terrible washing machine and I am so disappointed by it. I will never buy another LG appliance because of the lack of customer service and the costs we have incurred because it is ruining all of our clothes and sheets.

First LG purchase. Washing machine threw a code making it inoperable... it was brand new out of the box just installed... moments before I tried to do my first wash. Unable to do even a single wash due to code thrown. Inconvenient. Unreliable machine. Awaiting weeks now for replacement. My LG experience thus far...quality reliability installation...not good. Dont recommend. Will update when and if I am able to use it. Im not eager to wash clothes but it is one of lifes necessary things to do waiting weeks in hopes the new replacement actually functions correctly is not something i look forward to because if not what then? Need a reliable machine and this is not it.

I bought this less than 60 days ago and already 3 major components need to be replaced. LG unilaterally canceled my initial request for repair and the certified technician told me he would return with the part on Friday morning only to then learn that he would not return until Monday - making the machine unusable for over 6 days from the date of his visit. The original technician appointment was also canceled at the last minute. LG Should take responsibility for product defect and exchange the entire unit.

This product was purchased less then one year ago. Worked great til it didnt. Serious electrical Gremlins. Machine powers off during loads machine chooses its own cycles.... No LG service hub near my house third party repairs totally non-existent. Escalated to LG presidential liaison.... Crickets....thought I was sad when my LG C3 OLED stopped working recently but the wrath from my wife for no working laundry machine is worse. 0/2 on big purchases giving up after 1 year and non existent in warranty service is the end for me with lg.

This washer is amazing I had no idea that my old washer wasnt doing a good job of cleaning our clothes until the first load came out of this new washer. The clean fresh smell the brighter colors old stains that lifted right out and thats all without changing anything of my routine. Same detergent. Didnt use stain remover products or anything. I am so pleased It spins the clothes so much drier so they take less time to dry saving energy there also. I cant praise it enough. Its so quiet too. We can enjoy a family meal or TV program and barely know its running.

Worst expensive mistake ever

I am not someone who usually writes reviews good or bad. But I had to for this. This is going to be long. If you want clean clothes this is not for you We have only had it a few months and I have hated this machine since we got it. I didnt think anything could be worst than our old washer. Yes we have followed all the directions and specifications. We are still constantly going to the manual and online to make sure we are doing everything right. -I understand that normal wash setting is water saving. But it doesnt even get the clothes all wet. Ive tried different size loads to compare. Forget about it smelling clean. We have to use the deep wash setting with the water plus option to get any clean results. Or have to washing things twice. No water saving there. - I never see soap at all. We have tried powered pods and liquid detergent. The machine doesnt rotate fast enough to see the actual soap working. It moves back and forth but very slowly. The spin cycle works so I know it can move. You can see the same clothes just sitting on the top of everything. All you see is dirty water. Sometimes there is soap residue left on things. - We bought this for few different options: One was because of the large capacity. Well you cant fill it more than 1/2 way if you want relatively clean clothes. We like the large capacity because it said it was good with dog beds and had the allergen cycle which is 3 hours. I vacuum the crates mats before putting them in. They are not huge and bulky. Ive used different settings to see what will work best. They come out with clumps of hair on them and hair left in the machine. no the drain isnt blocked. Even after 2 washes they are still gross. -Washing bedding is a joke. It sits in one place and doesnt even get the whole comforter or sheets wet. And no we dont mix the sheets with blankets. Again you have to use the water plus option. And still the top of the blankets dont get washed. - Athletic ware never gets clean anymore new or old. I have to soak them in the bathtub to get any results. Even after washing in the machine with athletic wear detergent. Forget about getting baseball pants clean anymore. The only things I like are the clear top to see whats going on. I liked the idea of the more setting options than my old machine. Water temp soil levels and spin selection are good options. I like that you can see how long a load will take and how much time you have left. It is relatively quiet. Thats all like about this thing.

Great product exceptional delivery service...

We bought this to replace a 16 year old washer that started leaking. This machine is very different from our old machine having extensive computer control and an impeller instead of an agitator. Getting used to all of the options to make sure that there is enough water at least to our estimation and that the clothes are cleaned will take some time. In the meantime I believe it will all work out. I encourage buyers to carefully review the manual and Quick Start Guide for tips and guidelines. The significant plus to ordering directly from LG was the delivery service we had the machine delivered and installed and our old machine hauled away. David and his helper were amazing. They not only removed their shoes before coming into the house but carefully moved the old and new washers using a special blanket sliding it on the floor to make sure the flooring was protected they did use a hand truck outside our house. They also had me inspect the machine after they unpacked it but before they brought it into the house...it was pristine with no scratches or dents. David also was knowledgeable about using the machine and coached us with enough info to get us started. We have an LG range that we bought and had delivered from a big home improvement store and did not have the best experience. If I knew buying from LG direct would always get the great delivery service that we had with the washer it would definitely cause me to factor it into the buying decision.

I finally have a washer that is big enough to wash my bed spread It does a great job with it as well as with much smaller loads. I love the notifications in the app when my wash is complete as my washer / dryer are in the garage so I dont hear them. The variety of settings is fantastic. When we decided to get a new washer I saw the LGs were highly rated. So we got this one. No regrets. It washes well it spins better than our old machine the clothes are dryer when they come out. The only complaint is that some of the cycles like Delicate are quite long. Normal on the other hand is only 1/2 hour.

Ive had the washer for a week and Im not impressed. No matter what Im washing or what the setting is the top half of clothes at least dont get wet. Some items end up finally getting wet halfway into the load but only from the wetness creeping up during movement. Top layer never gets agitated yes I know its an impeller system into the soapy water. Yes Im using HE yes water hoses are clear yes Im loading appropriate amount of clothes/bedding but this high efficiency machine is only that because is used 1/3 less water than it actually needs. Adding extra water helps but completely defeat the purpose of choosing the machine for its efficiency. Not impressed by the design of this machine with minimal water and minimal agitation. Clothes can not be getting any cleaner even partially as my 21 yr old unit that this replaced.

I bought this about a month ago which is why I did not give excellent I would need more time. My clothes are clean and soft coming out of the washing machine without using rinse products. The fabrics seem to be less damaged because there is no agitator. I have put it through its first Turbo clean cycle.

Such a great machine

I have had the machine 2 weeks and couldnt be happier. With 5 kids we have a lot of laundry and the set of washer and dryer has been such smooth sailing working through all our needs. I also really love having the app to keep me up to date with remaining time and diagnostics.

I bought this item 4-28-23. Just received it on 5-23-23 Terrible delivery service. Lg said item was at delivery company facility. RXO delivery company said it was at Lg. Delivery company changed delivery date 4 times Aweful company to deal with. Lg should find another delivery company to deal with.

Great machine

I love it. I truly do. I didnt like top loaders but this one takes the cake. I can do my entire king size bed in one load. I can get more done in less time which time is important to me.

Unable to wash sheets or blankets

This washing machine does not fill up with enough water. When I try to wash bed half of the sheets stay dry. I called a repairman. He said nothing is wrong its because the machine save water. He suggested I was the sheets twice take them out when the first wash is over and turn the pike over and wash again this means double the time spent double the water used and double the detergent which does not get rinsed out. Plus I am short and have a bad back this is making me dread doing the wash. Ps the long kitchen tongs I have to use are not strong enough to pick up the sheet

One month review

Have not used top loader washer for twenty years. Always though front loaders are more efficient cleans better and less water. So far smaller loads are ok. Will increase to larger loads and comforters washing. A true test. Very skeptical but we will see. Hope it works good. If not will be very disappointed and will not buy top loader again

Great Washer

Have had it about 3 weeks and very happy with it. The only issue is that it is so deep that a shorter person cannot reach the bottom of the washer.

The washer is quiet I like the temperature and cycle options. I can wash a comforter. I cannot reach the bottom to get clothes. I had to buy a grabber. I didnt realize how deep it was. I think it will save money as it measures the water by load and adjusts time based on sensing.
