I purchased this A/C a month ago and to be a 10000 BTU A/C I dont feel is cooling my bedroom enough. I have an old A/C 5000 BTU and used to cooling the entire apartment. Maybe this unit is defective. - Thanks

Game Changer

Window Air Conditioners with inverter technology are a game changer. They are energy efficient quiet light weight. The 10000 BTU I installed when my whole house heat pump died keep me going through a stretch of 100+ degree days and did a great job. My house is insulated with foam in the walls and on the roof so its has a great thermal envelope and the unit kept the whole 950-SF below 78-degrees F.

Game changer

Ive been in HVAC for 20+ yrs. and never thought Id buy a window shaker as Ive always promoted ductless mini split systems with inverter technology. When I saw the LG LW1022 with dual inverter as an option to cool my South Texas home workshop at a fraction of the cost of the ductless mini split systems I figured Id give it a shot. LG has a game changer with this unit. With the variable speed fan paired with the dual inverter compressors it is as quiet and efficient as most of the mini split systems Ive promoted for years and I promise theres no window shaking

Operation of Air Conditioner

Last summer I was at a friends home and I thought he installed central air. As it turned out he had this air conditioner. I was so impressed at the performance of the machine I decided to purchase. I purchased this unit approximately 2 weeks ago during an extremely hot summer season. The machine delivers all I expected. It is very quiet. When it reaches temperature it automatically turns off. I couldnt be happier.

Really works well

I tried other similarly priced units and wasnt satisfied until finding this one. It circulates the air well and is surprisingly quiet for an AC unit. The Wifi and remote features are great and help me regulate the temperature from different rooms and for my cat when Im not home. The only qualm I have is that it is a bit heavy but what unit isnt. Great product would definitely recommend

I bought this on amazon. I reviewed many air condition units. This unit had good reviews and is very energy efficient. It took a while to get it shipped as amazon ran out. It was well packaged and came with everything I needed to install it. I knew it was a little longer than most because of the dual compressors. I am please with its operation. I use the wfi mostly. I am very pleased as it is just as advertised quiet and many options. You can also check energy useage and has diagnostics.

Wi-Fi lacking

Bought this about a month ago. It was to replace a failed whole house air conditioner. The unit is working as advertised. The dual inverter capability is supposed to save on electric. Ill have to wait until next month to see the true reality of that statement. The unit functions well. Im only concerned about cooling half of the house that I spend most of my time in. Works great. Havent figured out the Wi-Fi yet. Might be my fault.

Quiet efficient air conditiomer

My salesman at PC Richard recommended the LG air conditioners with Dual Inverters. When my contractor installed the 3 window units he told me that after he turned it on he thought it was not plugged in but he then immediately felt the cold air coming form the unit. He told me he never heard a quieter window A/C unit. Living with it day in and day out is easy. We set the temp and energy saver mode and let it do its thing. At some point there was a red light reminding us to clean the filter. But it has made our home so comfortable with reducing the temperature and humidity. This is the first window A/C where we let it run in the bedroom. Previously they were all too loud or the noise associated with the compressor kicking it would interrupt my sleep. Kudos to LG a for the design and execution of these units

powerful and efficient

this unit cools my space quickly and quietly. The remote control is easy to use and convenient. It would be nice if there were a way to dim the display because it throws a lot of light at night when Im trying to sleep in darkness. In that vein illuminated display on the remote would be great for ease of use at night time. Its pretty quiet and doesnt wake me up when it switches on and off at night. Id recommend it.

QUIETEST AIR CONDITIONER WE HAVE EVER OWNED

We needed to replace the Living Room air conditioner and were so happy with HOW QUIET this air conditioner is. You can actually hear the TV fine while it is running. We were so happy about how quiet it is that we replaced the Main Bedroom air conditiioner as well even though the old loud one was still running fine. The low whoosh of this air conditioner is like the perfect white noise for sleeping. I will not know until the July and August electric bill about the 25 less energy used but I expect that to be true too. The only con is I set up the wifi but it keeps losing the connection so I gave up and just use the timer.

I wish Costco would carry this AC again

I didnt think a Wi-Fi smart AC was necessary until we got the week long heatwave. I was able to check my room temperature from work and adjust the AC remotely. I had to make sure my dogs and fish didnt suffer from the heat.

amazingly quiet and efficient.

I replaced an older 10000btu unit that i pursed about 10 years ago. The wife was just tired of how loud the old one was which at the time of purchase wasnt rated that bad. This unit however holy... the difference is amazing. its a lot... about 15 decibels. this was enough for my co-workers on meetings to go from complaining about the noise to not knowing i had an AC running. it also cools and controls the temp a LOT better than the old unit which was not an inverter design. all this while being considerably smaller see photo. as i run this about 8 months out of the year this was a huge change in comfort and wasnt that expensive. the wifi functions work fine but im close enough to use the remote instead. though i have turned it on remotely a few times before driving home.

I bought this LG to replace an old unit with the idea that this would be the last air conditioner I would buy this was more costly than what I have bought in the past at the big box stores but the features and my previous experience with LG appliances convinced me to make the additional investment. So far I have not been disappointed. The unit is very quiet and quickly cools the room down even on the most humid day. I like that I was able to connect it to the house wifi system and start it remotely if needed. The energy saving mode is very effective. In all I feel that the extra investment was well worth it given the features and efficiency.
